I'm a cover and interior book designer with a soft spot for literary fiction and swoon-worthy typography. Though I come from the plains of Chicagoland, I live nestled against the Wasatch Mountains in northern Utah with my husband, Neil, and several fluffy rescue pets.

• I am a scholar of English literature and composition, and I have an MA in contemporary literature and feminist literary criticism. As of April 2026, I have successfully defended (and survived) my PhD dissertation in American literature and ecocriticism. I am now officially permitted to be referenced as “Dr.” on family holiday card envelopes.

• I am writing a novel about radium and have a handful of short fiction and creative nonfiction pieces floating around in the wild.

• I have worked with New York Times best-selling authors as well as fresh, new voices (through both design and editing).

• My favorite episodes of The Simpsons are "Lisa versus Malibu Stacy" and the one where they vacation in Little Pwagmattasquarmsettport. It’s devastating that my younger university students no longer get my ‘90s TV references.
